review 1: I don't like reading about women who are indecisive or who like to play games and Jambrea's character is that type of woman. Its obvious that she wants Clint and Matt, fine they f*ck up like two or three times but once they step up she tries to act like she doesn't want them. And we all know she does. Stop playing these freaking games and just man up already. I liked the Jambrea that opened up the book, the one that saved all those soldiers, the one that risked her life to save a spy, the tough one! Not the Jambrea who takes over ten years later, that chick is just damn pitiful...I don't understand her reasoning, the whole scene that Lily set up, not that big of a deal, the guys did it because they wanted to be with her, yet she acts like they tortured her goldfish or some... morething. Yet she pines for some guy over a one night stand for close to ten years, even though he told her there could never be anything between them! Are you kidding me! (Not to downplay John's character..I was very saddened by what happened to him..but he was honest with her...she was just a dumbass)Oh and what's the deal with her always getting carried everywhere, don't her damn legs work? I swear its like every scene either Clint or Matt is picking her up to carry her. Its cute and sweet for a man to do that once in a while, its borderline stupidity for two men to do it nearly 24/7 to a woman who supposedly has military training...I did enjoy reading about the budding relationship between the two men, baby steps is important in a relationship of that importance, and eventually the whole triad. Actually the best part of the book was the last chapter and then the epilogue. I am really looking forward to reading Lucas story and what was that all about with Ben, Ryan and Shari?.....hmmmmmmm(FYI: You may notice I do not have reviews for the first three books in this series, rest assured I have read them, I just happen to purchase them in print before receiving my NOOK HD+ device as a gift. At some point during the future I'll write a short review after adding them to my 'read' shelf)
review 2: I love the Men in Blue series by author Jayne Rylon and I've been looking forward to reading Jambrea, Clint and Matt's story in Spread Her Wings. The thing that made this book so much fun to read is that this story was written for and starred another author I adore, Jambrea Jo Jones, as the heroine who captured the heart of two sexy cops - damn lucky woman. LOL!!! Jambrea doesn't give her heart easily to a man after all these years, the memory of her first time with an unattainable man still haunts her and leaves her looking for love. Luckily for her, she has two very sexy cops and partners willing and ready to finally make her theirs, if only they could figure out the sudden attraction they feel towards each other after a shared kiss *sigh*I adored Jambrea, she was strong, kind-hearted and loved unconditionally. I could feel her longing for the man in her past and and her determination to finally get Clint and Matt to act on their feelings for her. I cheered her on as she attempted to move on albeit unsuccessfully with Lily's help...that sneaky Mistress. Hehehe! I loved how protective and tender Clint and Matt treated Jambrea in and out of the bedroom. All three of them together set the sheets on fire! OMG! I could not get enough and Jambrea, you are one sexy, desirable lady who had these two men on their knees to please you :)I enjoyed the closeness Clint and Matt shared and you could tell it went deeper than just friendship. I couldn't wait for them to explore their attraction to each other and Jambrea made it possible for them to do that without any judgment. It was so much fun to visit with all the gang again and see the friendship and support they gave one another. Jayne never fails to deliver a sexy, emotional and thrilling story that has readers riveted until the last page. I am dying to read Lucas and Ellie's story next in this series. less
