review 1: Wonderful read; what do I like best about this book? Our heroine Crystie Lake, Crystie is a born Omega which basically means he can influence the feelings of th other members of her pack, so if tempersshouldflair she can calm them , or if omeone is depressed she can help them feel happier. Crystie is the true hero of his story , she is constantly giving of herself to the extreme , so much do that she passes up the chance at her own happiness with her mate because she believe he is in love with his long time girlfreind . Trent Parker. Is the son of the alpha , and will take over that position when he turns 21, Crystie believes he is better off with his girlfreind Nikkin at his side other that her, since Nikki is a beta . However , by denying herself her mate , her wolf... more recedes an she leaves herself at much risk which increases with the knowledge that someone is now kidnapping Omega's from other packs . The author hooks you in, gives you this incredible giving character in Crystie, she gives do much more that what I stated above, a sexy Alpha and mate in Trent along with danger and intrigue , I'm hoping tobe able to visit this pack and characters aginin the future!
review 2: Christie is an Omega werewolf. Omegas, which are rare, have the ability to project peace, happiness, love, serenity as well as negative emotions. Her job in the pack is to keep harmony and balance by projecting whatever is needed. Christie scented and recognized her mate when she was sixteen, but Trent was with Nikki (had been his whole life)whom he was betrothed to when he became Alpha in a few months. Christie knew he had a soft spot for Nikki, so she kept hidden from him and never looked him in the eye. Her wolf inside her howled, "Mate!", but Christie reasons with her wolf and the wolf reluctantly agrees. Her wolf starts fading from her along with her werewolf attributes; all but the Omega and Change abilities. This is bad, really bad.Some unknown forces are now after Christie for her Omega ability and not only she, but her whole pack is in danger.
