When she ends up with a disastrous meeting with Jack Calloway, she doesn't realize her life is about to take a major change. Jack thinks Sarah is mildly crazy, adorable, and she makes him laugh. As their relationship begins to blossom her past comes a knocking causing a bit of trouble along the way.Very fun. Sarah is wallowing in a land of hurt and doesn't know how to get unstuck. review 2: Every once in a while you get a fresh Author that brightens your day with their book and leaves you yearning for more!! That is exactly how i felt when i read Life in a Rut.I laughed and cried while reading this and i was tickled with Aunt Raines and the banter with Sarahs parents.Jack is oh my yummy and you will need a cold shower after reading (or even during)This story was truly a breath of fresh air for me and i am glad that i read it and i can't wait to read more from Mrs. Hollyfield.Sarah had the perfect life or so she thought. Life isn't always what you thought it would be and some you get stuck in a rut and have to dig your way out of it with the help of a sexy Construction dude and a Crazy aunt and LOTS and LOTS of Vermouth!!! Love with survive if you have all of the right ingredients.. less
