review 1: So what bugged me most about this book was how dumb Kevin was. He's pissed because she kept her upbringing a secret??!!? The guy seems like a total idiot and dipsh*t! His character was horrible for the hero. Then I find how unbelievable some of Harpers actions/reactions were to certain scenarios. How can she be ok with Meg trying it have her fired because she kept the fathers identity a secret?? Anyway, the book wasn't too bad but the hero sucked!
review 2: So the secret baby trope is kind of hit and miss for me but I have to say that this one is very good and I enjoyed it very much. Maybe that’s because it’s a secret baby and not a secret teenager….anyway back to the book. This is the third book in the Forever Love series but it is fine as a standalone ... more(I know because I haven’t read the previous two). The story is well written, flows very smoothly and is a very enjoyable read. There is excellent chemistry between Harper and Kevin, whether they’re fighting or tearing each other’s clothes off their emotions are always very intense. They do tend to fight and forgive quite a bit. I like that while Harper did keep her pregnancy and the baby a secret for a while when Kevin moved back to town she came clean and totally owned her decision. It caused some conflict but I prefer that to the 100 pages of is the kid mine or not angst you get in some other secret baby books. There are excellent secondary characters as well. Kevin’s sisters and their husbands were very interesting to me and now I will have to go back and read their stories as well. If you’re a fan of the secret baby trope you should definitely read this one, if you’re on the fence like I am, give this one a try it’s a good one.
