review 1: And.. done... Interesting book from a storyteller within the prosecution who is highly intelligent but obviously bias towards guilt.First part of the book was interesting about the investigation, but I ended up skimming through the trail part as that was the least interesting part (for me anyway!). At first glance I was astonished, along with most of the media, that Casey would "get away with murder" however I am more and more siding with the jury that there just wasn't enough evidence beyond reasonable doubt. Do I reckon Casey killed her beautiful daughter though: yes.
review 2: This book gives an insightful view into the events leading up to the arrest and trial of the Casey Anthony murder. In the end, Ashton's message is that the American justice system wor
... moreks only as good as we allow it to, sometimes resulting in the guilty walking free (and certainly the innocent being imprisoned) when elements of the case do not align. It is clear Ashton feels the jury did not put in the effort needed to see that justice was carried out, and he has obvious reservations about Florida's laws requiring most details of a case be made available immediately to the media, which taints jury pools and encourages sensationalized trials. less

Good insights. He's pretty pompous, but it was a good read.

Very invasive look at the case.
