review 1: Okay,the series is NOT one of my fandoms but my brother has an obsession with it so I always catch myself 'stealing' them from his library to read them.I am not a fan of teen comedy but this book was really good.Plot?It was COOl!I felt that it had suspence!For the first time in these books,I was pretty excited for the end.As for laughing,I guess Jeff Kinney has his point there!It had such amazing humor,it's my fave of the series so far.The cover was also FUN!I liked it pretty much,yes,I admit it,I Loved it.
review 2: Diary of a Wimpy Kid was a fun, easy read, but lacked much dimension and creativity found in good books. It was fun to read because of the occasional laugh that it gave me, but it was never really entertaining, considering its quirky humor and dull... more and predictable plotline. Not much to think about when reading it, which makes it a nice book to read at the end of a long day. The Heffley boys never cease to surprise me with what antics they pull in the book, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Perhaps my favorite part is the part where they as a joke made a sign saying they were being kidnapped, even though they were riding in the car with their parents. The type of stupid thing that they did, not intending for their parents to get pulled over by the cops. less
