review 1: A quirky story. Loved the sexual tension build up between the characters. The goddess scenes were comical. I thought the characters reading the dogs thoughts was very inventive, but the dogs characters were the most fun part of the book. I thought Crusie did an excellent job of weaving in the loyalty of the canine breed with smacks of hilarious fustration at the human nature they had to deal with. I gave two stars below outstanding due the the strange goddess storyline... there were times I had to put the book down just to take a break from it.
review 2: This was a bit more chaotic a book than Crusie's usual style. But the wit and the humour was just as good. I adored their made up myth of the Mesopotamian dog goddess out to rule the world. That was just funny,
... more and all because of a mix-up with a celebri-baby named Camisole. I adored the men, not so much Sam for some reason, but much more the genius and nerdy Christopher. I'd love a mathematics professor of my own :) less

It's was fairly predictable but a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the dogs.
