review 1: It's an interesting plot, I've never even heard of "divorce party" concept but I can dig that. But I had a hard time liking the heroine -- her insecurities, hypocrisy and uncalled for outbursts. I supposed it's because I can't relate to what she's been through and her difficulty to move on. I am also having a hard time believing that a rich high profile person would be too consumed about his own life to know who he married. I would think you'd be a lot smarter than that. I like his character though -- he's alpha but he's sweet and caring as well. But the heroine didn't do much for me. I don't know what made her phenomenal to captivate the hero. It just didn't make sense to me at all. Also is it just me or did anyone get the impression that the hero has never ever ... moremet her farm family? Why does it seem like he's so removed from them?
review 2: I loved this book! This is Jennifer Hayward's debut book and winner of Harlequins 2012 So You Think a You Can Write competition! I personally can't wait for her next book. Riccardo and Lilly are strong characters who are on the verge of finalizing their divorce when Riccardo comes up with a deal Lilly can't turn down. Reconcile for 6 months then she can walk away. Read this book and to see what happens. I'm really hoping Jennifer gives Alex, Gabe and Mattao get their HEA. less
