review 1: This book reminded me of The Cat Star Chronicles by Cheryl Brooks. Dangerous alien male slave bound and in need of rescuing. The books differ greatly from there on out but they have a similar feel. I liked the world building, not too many new words to distract from the story. I can't wait to see what else this author has to offer.The only thing I disliked about the book was that the heroine wasn't fully human.
review 2: I was disappointed!...i was bored the whole way through...but it did have promise just didn't deliver. I couldn't relate to any of the characters! The Hero was a Sap the heroine was a cross between a wanna be bad-ass and a confused idiot! I gave the book two stars because I loved the wolf Vicca best character in the whole book, and because the p... moreremise of the book had potential.The beginning of the book that introduces the tortured hero and the determine heroine was pretty much the best part from that point on the novel was just a jumbled mess of too many mystery's, left out sexual tension,misplaced emotions,lost plot, and minimal descriptions of the worlds and hierarchy. Plus the relationship between the main character was not believable and that is one of my biggest pet peeves! Towards the end of the book there where so many loose ends and (yawn worthy) "twists" that it's almost sad that I can honestly say I don't care and I won't be reading another novel from this series again! Big Thumbs Down for this one less
