review 1: I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Even if I hadn’t, I would’ve bought it. I loved the prior two installments in Jesse Hayworth’s Mustang Ridge series (Summer at Mustang Ridge and Sunset at Keyhole Canyon). This latest installment is as terrific as the ones that came before it.The prodigal daughter Jenny Skye left Mustang Ridge for the wider world and never looked back. As the story opens, though, takes a break from her job as a camera operator on a reality TV show because her family needs her. Her twin sister, the ranch manager, needs to go take some classes, and someone has to mind the store. Jenny isn’t exactly looking forward to it, but she steps in to do her part. She hasn’t been home long when she rescues a lost ... moredog, only to have a truck hit him as she’s about to pull him to safety. Naturally, she takes him to the local vet, only to find the old vet is gone, and young, handsome Dr. Nick Masterson has taken over the practice.Nick and Jenny experience instant attraction, but neither expects it to go anywhere. She’s only here for a while, and he’s had his fill of globetrotting. And of long-distance relationships.Life at home isn’t simple for Jenny, either. She has to learn to cope with demanding guests and deal with her mother’s efforts to make peace with retirement. Jenny and her mother struggle toward mutual understanding in a beautifully done subplot. We also get to see Foster and Shelby from Summer at Mustang Ridge. It's great to get a peek at their lives after Happily Ever After.Nick and Jenny soon find they have more in common than they expected, and their journey is filled with humor, sexual tension, and passion. Jesse Hayworth makes each of their positions on relationships firm, clear and sympathetic, so that neither comes off as unreasonable and I was never sure how this would come out until the very end.Now I can't wait for the next installment in this series.
review 2: I absolutely adored this book! Like the first in the series, it's a real treat, with an uber hot hero, a heroine you can relate to, and a setting you'd like to visit, if not live there. Filmaker Jenny Skye never wanted to come back home to Montana, and veterinarian Nick Masterson never wants to leave. Following them on their journey toward each other, and compromise in the name of love, is a delight. Can't wait for more from Hayworth. less

I like this one much more than the first book in the series. The romance developed at a nice pace.
