review 1: I loved the flow of the story. The characters really did it for me. Rafe was compassionate and kind. Lisa was sarcastically funny with a temper to even her out. The mating was interesting and I could understand the hesitancy. The plot made me more interested. I felt like to characters drew me in but the plot and storyline is what kept me interested. There is so much to like in this book it is hard to detail it. I would recommend this to people who were interested in werewolf story without over sexing the story.
review 2: Contemporary wolf shifter romance in the small town of Wolf Creek, Texas and in an alternate fairy world as well. Lisa is going to visit her best friend Stephanie's new town and her family that she's made with her sherif husband and two daughte... morers. So right off the bat, Lisa notices that the people in town are a bit like a cult, and she isn't fall off because they are all part of the local wolf shifter pack. On her first night out with Steph, she meets her future 'mate' Rafe who happens to be the pack's alpha. There are lots of secrets and add in a mystery dark fae, an adopted runaway daughter and lots of hybrids, plus the fact that Lisa is a secret witch. This story is jam packed with action, everything happens in one week. There isn't much sexy time (once at the end) but there is lots of chemistry and mysteries.shifters, Rafe must ask the light fae for help. They must figure out why Lisa is in danger and what is so special about her that attracts a powerful dark fae. Rafe’s brothers and the light fae will all work together to protect Lisa and the pond from the evil fae. If you like shifter stories then you might like this world because there is clearly more stories to come out because there are a lot of single shifter men introduced. But I didn't fall in love with this story for some reason I didn't like Lisa and would have liked to get to know her best friend, Stephanie better.HEA is found for the main characters, Lisa and Rafe, but i bet the next story will be with the Cougar shifter seer and Robert the Queen's guard.343 pages (but with the spaced font, I'd make it 200ish pages) and kindle freebie2 stars less
