review 1: Okay, so the prequel did not sell me on the series but this book did. It was a great read and I am looking forwad to book 2 in the series. I did notice several goodreads' reviewers mentioned that the violence was PG13 and that is true. I could read it buit was almost too violent for me. In a way, the level of brutality is in stark contrast to the snarky and at times funny dialog of the main characters.
review 2: I read the second book in the series first so this book was not as suspensful for me, knowing how it would all turn out. That said, it was a great story. I like Tasha, she is funny and parinoid and smart. I love that Danny makes her melt. I would like to have understood more of Danny's role, that part was a bit vague and glossed over. Good actio
... moren. No language, Some violence (fighting, drowning, shooting), No sex (kissing) less
