review 1: It was okay. No. It was good. I kept thinking I was screwed because it was a sequel to another book I hadn't read and it was going to be confusing and weird but it wasn't. Not for me. I realized right out of the bat that there was a lot of history between the two main characters and I sensed it would have been better if I had read the first book but it was enjoyable just the same. The jumps between time frames were pretty well written and actually helped understand everything better. They were cute together and am glad they realized it was a mistake to be separate any longer. Nice twist with the Larry crap. Nice HEA. Good read.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. It was a continuation of Dark Horse where we first meet Sean and Dan and it takes place about 6 m... moreonths after the end of the first book. White Knight has a couple of different story lines. First of all there is a little bit of the prequel to Dark Horse about Sean's stalker and how Sean met Dan. There is also the story line that takes place after Dark Horse where we find out that all is not well in the romance between Sean and Dan and it looks as though Sean might have someone else who wants to do him harm. I found this book a bit confusing at times where they switched back and forth between story lines, but I think they did a pretty good job of it. I liked that there turned out to be a few problems between Sean and Dan. I liked the way that the conflicts between them were handled. Overall, I would recommend this book. But I keep hoping for a longer novel from Mr. Lanyon. less
