review 1: What a pleasurable read!! The story-line was enticing, the characters likeable, believable, and I absolutely fell in love with the way the author described the esquisite food. I must say, I've never come across a novel like this, a romance that has just the right amount of suspense, keeping the reader guessing as to what happens next, yet still be classed as a romance. At first, I was quite apprehensive, especially after Gabe denied a sexual encounter with an attractive women purely for the fact that he was turned on by another women's voice, but somehow it just worked! I loved all the characters, even Stephanie! I usually can't stand the villain! And the POV's were genius. Not once did I get bored, and Eva was definitely someone I could relate too. The title definetely fi... morets the story. Great job!! 5 stars!!
review 2: This was such an unexpected jem!The story was witty, sexy, and MY GOD the 'food talk' was so sensual. I thoroughly enjoyed this author's writing style, and the characters were AMAZING!Gabriel was domineering, complex, intelligent, and passionate.Eva was one of the best female leads I've read in a while. She was intelligent, interesting, honorable, strong, determined, and sassy as hell! ... and boy could she cook! How the author described her food was like 'food forplay', with each dish/course leading to ... well... you know. *fanning face*In this case don't judge this book by it's cover. If you get the opportunity to read it, DO IT!I think you won't be disappointed! less
