review 1: "I'm Stickman, I'm Stickman, I'm Stickman! That's me"... Argh!! My son adores this book. He asks for it repeatedly so I'd say it strikes a cord with little ones (we started reading this to him when he was around 20 months) but it drives me up the wall! I don't know why but something about Stickman grates on my nerves...However, despite finding it annoying, the story has a nice flow and the pictures are fab. It moves through the four seasons and ends with a visit from Santa and delivering presents so it's a nice wintery read, to me, but my boy wants it all year round.
