review 1: I read some reviews for this book and let me say that those who complained about grammar, spelling and punctuation really need to double check their own stuff before commenting on others.Everyone who writes has their own style. Aside from the obvious errors that a good proofreader and editor could correct, this book was enjoyable. There were places where I giggled and other places in the book where I felt like I was in the room with Abby wondering what would happen with her relationship with Tucker. I also went with Tucker to Havana and experienced his tension and anticipation.For free it was worth the click and something you could definitely blow through waiting for your flight or on the commute home.
review 2: Cute. Abby is a bartender at her family's bar. Sh... moree meets Tucker Simon, a sports agent from a famous family who frequents her bar, and falls madly in love with him. Tucker's wife's plane disappeared over the ocean four years ago and he's had several shallow affairs since then. When his cousin gets married, he needs a date (having just broken up with his latest shallow affair) and, so, asks Abby to go with him "as a friend." While at the wedding, Tucker sees Abby as a warm, funny, intelligent woman and develops "feelings" for her. Slightly tipsy, she kisses him and sparks fly. They start dating and everything is going well - she even moves in with him - until his mother-in-law calls to say that his wife has been found and is alive in a Cuban hospital. Of course, there's a HEA. Both Tucker and Abby are likeable characters and I enjoyed their romance. less
