review 1: The novel was heartrendingly beautiful and emotionally evoking. A good read for teenagers coming of age and needing to realize where they truly belong. Willow is a strong character and I like her decision-making skills, even though they sometimes get her in trouble. The characters are very well-drawn and all stand out in their own ways. I feel bad for Tessa and wish a better future ahead of her, though. The storyline was well-told and the descriptions felt so real. I almost cried, especially during the later parts. If I were Willow, I'm sure I would've made the same mistakes. I like how she learned from those mistakes. The novel is too beautiful for words. The ending was a surprise! I was about to cry and thought for sure that it's time someone leaves and constantly wonder... moreed who would leave! That was a tricky idea, having Willow dress in black. Overall, I would say the book was a huge success. The storyline wasn't boring and overly sentimental. It was just perfect. The love story was cute. Michael's so romantic. I love that about him. Always love a boy who writes poems for you. He's just perfect. The emotions presented felt raw and real and affected me as much as they affected the characters.
review 2: I think that overall this was a pretty good book. I liked the whole thing with Micheal, and thought his sickness was a good thing to put in the book. It kind of bothered me that she was constantly babysitting her little brother. One of the other reasons I couldn't give this book five stars, was because she was a little bit of an idiot most of the time, making the same mistakes over and over again, sulking over almost everything, it was kind of annoying. But this book was very good and I would recommend it. less

There's not much to say about this book, just that it was to short to really get into the story
