review 1: This was a fun read. I'm picky about my Chick Lit, and this passed the test. It was humorous without the heroine trying to be too funny. The situations were what created humor. I became a little irritated with the main character at the end. I wanted to shake her and ask her, "Are you crazy?" I suppose that is the beauty of good books. They make you feel something. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves Chick Lit and romantic fiction.
review 2: I would give this book 5 stars but I was able to guess some of what was going to happen. LOL. But honestly I really loved the book. I was interested to see what it was about and if it grabbed my attention enough and it definitely did. I loved Lucia Pia. Sometimes female characters in the romance novels I read seem... more to be annoying or so difficult. Lucia however was someone I could see myself being friends with and liking a lot. The description of the characters, places and story line were well written. I could picture everything really well and the story flowed so nicely. I finished it faster than I had anticipated but loved every second of it. I wish I could have gotten to read more of Lucia and Jackson after they've finally gotten together. I really loved them as a couple. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to more from the author. less
