review 1: I am not going to rehash the plot for you but I am going to tell you what I loved about this book- EVERYTHING!1: Tanner- he is an adorable, sweet, sexy, funny, swoon worthy, dirty talking, charmer of a man who does come with baggage, but that makes you love him even more. I loved seeing his vulnerable side and the fact that he didn’t have to play alpha man 100% of the time.2- Kellee- like Tanner she comes with baggage but she is also strong while at the same time sweet. She is more than the perfect match for Tanner.3- Their chemistry- I love when book couples can be sexy and funny at the same time but still throw off loads of sexual energy.Example: His grin grows wider, “Trust me – if I had it my way, your ankles would have been on my shoulders the first night I s... moreaw you.”4- Dual POV’s- I love when an author offers us the chance to get inside both of the main characters heads. It adds another dimension and layer to the plot.5- Secondary characters- I loved them all. Without them this book would not have had the same dynamic.6- the funny- I found myself laughing way more than I expected. I was utterly charmed by this entire read.7- The writing was out of this world. You could feel the Tanner and Kellee’s pain and joy- all of their emotions. This wasn’t a stale rehashing of a story that we have read a thousand times. Song Chaser is fresh, vibrant and full of life.8- Have I mentioned Tanner? He is well worth mentioning again. This is one fine fine man. I guarantee that you will fall hard for his sexiness and charisma.9- That cover- one word- hot!!!!This book is one of my favorite reads of the year. I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to read it.I highly recommend this to everyone.5 out of 5 stars
review 2: Shannon’s ReviewTo begin with you really really need to read Tag Chaser before you read this book. This can’t be read as a standalone or will be lost. This book is Tanner West’s book. To be honest with you I loved him in Tag Chaser from the get go. Although he made me so mad in the first book and this one. He just can’t seem to keep his head out of his a**. He is gorgeous with the cheesiest lines ever but I still couldn’t help but smile reading them.Paisley and Corbin make reappearances as well. I love Paisley but grrrrr she was making me so irate. The new girl we get to meet I Kellee. She is confident and feisty when you first meet her. It’s funny to see her put Tanner in his place. Although she does come with her own insecurities. She has a lot to learn about herself. I feel for her though.This book, just like the first one, is well written and was an absolute page turner.I am giving this book 4.5 hearts. less
