review 1: This book was given to me in exchange for a reviewThis was a great read! I am excited about the next one! Just can't wait!Great story!It was written well.You felt every emotion no matter if it was laughter,tears or excitement!There is Isobell and the two men she falls in love with each centuries apart!She goes from being a Archeologist to a great warrior!So much action,love,sadness and joy!She lives two seperate lives and both compliment each other!The story just flows so smoothly fron one life to the other!Bet you can't tell that I really loved this book! A great beginning to a great series!There have been other books where a girl lives in our century and is transported into another,except in this case she goes between two centuries not her own.In my opinion they don't ho... moreld a candle to this one!Give it a shot! You will love it!I will also be keeping my eye on Kat Bastion!
review 2: This was an amazing story to read. It's History, Fantasy and Romance all rolled into one. I am so glad Kat came up with this plot line. I wish I was Isobelle. Her soul mate Iain is the epitome of a true Scottish hunk. I have read quite a lot of time travel books but this one takes the cake. We bounced from our time , to the 13th Century and back to the age of the Picts. I bet Isobelle felt like a rubber ball. Her history facts are great and her descriptions make me want to go to Scotland even more. The down part of all this is having to leave the people you have come to care for. Put this book on your TBR list. I can't wait to read her next book! less
