review 1: Very Sexy read, When their affair first happened it was teacher and student now its Head Mistress and faculty. Very naughty. After twelve years shes back and in charge and Lawrence is still there and head of the Board of Trustees and their passion for each other was and is still undeniable and hot as hell but shes not sure she wants to go down that road again. Shes not sure why he walked away and broke her heart but she cant deny her feelings for him and the love she still has for him. Story was well written. Very sexy and romantic read. review 2: This ARC was provided to me by the author for an honest review.Academy of Love was a story about lost love found.... more I love stories like this. It’s one of my favorite tropes of all time. I think everyone can relate to this story, having wondered about a first love at one time or another. I enjoyed the story, but I did find myself getting anxious that it was dragging a bit. I felt like the hero and heroine were avoiding this huge elephant the entire book, and then at the end… bam! It all came to a head in the last 20 pages or so. I would’ve liked to see more development of the relationship between them, but it just went straight into a physical thing with not much talking or clearing the air after what was a serious misunderstanding that changed both of their paths in life. Overall, I did enjoy it. I loved that they found each other, but I just felt like I needed a little bit more. Four out of five Stars. less
