review 1: I received a free ARC of this book from Beau Coup Publishing Co for my honest review.Oh my GAAAAHHHH...This is So Sexy and Hot!Nathaniel Walsch is wealthy, of course, but so down to earth and willing to try new things.Emmy Westerly is a DOMME, no ifs, and, or buts about it. The new administrative assistant to Nathaniels brother Victor, she's no nonsense, right down to business, and has the office (and Nathaniel) rocking in no time at all.He is introducing her into vanilla sex, and she's initiating him into the world of D/s, albeit lightly.I really couldn't stop reading this. Every time I put it down, I really wanted to pick it right back up. The sex is smoking, both the vanilla and the bdsm, the descriptive detail given by the author, Katherine Rhodes, was awesome! ... moreI'd label her queen of super descriptive sex scenes...whew...It's not just all sexy goodness though. There's a plot and underlying story lines....Like Greg, and Lance and what the hell happened to Emmy when she was in her teens, and what the hell happened to make her fly off the handle and go all crazy ass on Nathaniel after an exceptionally good and sexy romp. And then, the cliffhanger, Oh My GOD!WTF???? I'm headed off to Amazon as soon as I'm done writing this to see if book 2 is available. GAH!!! I gotta know what just happened.Consensual by Katherine Rhodes is EASILY a 4.5 Star book, especially when you combine the smoking sex and the huge cliffy!
review 2: Even with a cliffhanger, I loved it.Probably because I already have the next one sitting on my kindle. I'll be starting that shortly.Finally, a Domme and not another Dom. Sorry, I don't have a submissive bone in my body so this book was right up my alley.Emmy is great. Strong, sensual, knows what she wants and goes for it. Okay, so she has a few issues, but who doesn't.And then Nathaniel, absolutely love him. I'm not crazy about millionaires generally, but he doesn't act like one. He's great. he wants to understand, he's patient, he's willing work through things. Absolutely love him.So, if you want a hot book that's different than the norm, this is totally for you. less
