review 1: Kathryn Cushman has done it again; had my crying along with the characters in this book, feeling their defeat and cheering for their comeback. While the first couple of chapters were a little slow I found myself not being able to put this book down. If you have ever found yourself having to walk away or give up something that you love and had to deal with the heartbreak of it all this book is for you. The relationship between Sabrina, Brandy and their grandmothers was very deep and inspiring as well at Sabrina's need to come to terms with her past.Kathryn Cushman's books remind me of the earlier works of Karen Kingsbury (versus Karen's books today); engaging and hard to put down.This is a much recommended book and I can't wait to read more from this au... morethor.

An excellent portrayal of the Bible truth that He works everything for His good/glory...and that we should always trust this...even when things don't work out the way we wanted or thought they would/should. less
