review 1: I love Kathy Griffin. And I loved her book. I laughed at her self-deprecating humor, her honesty and brashness and I cried when she spoke of David Strickland and Phil Hartman (full disclosure, I cry whenever someone talks about Phil Hartman). She talks about her time with The Groundlings and Suddenly Susan. Bad comedic choices she made and her successes as well. Her parents feature largely and she even speaks of her brother that she suspected was a pedophile. And not in a funny way. She is both at times brutally honest and serious and then brutally honest and hilarious.
review 2: It started out funny. But then got really serious, really fast when she started talking about her brother, Kenny. Yikes. Holy scary. That is not funny at all and props to her fo
... morer doing the right thing even though her family is whack and continued to support him. Then it got funny again. Phew. Light-hearted at times, very serious at times, it was a well-rounded book. She does get kind of obnoxious when she does a lot of yelling. But she is a funny lady. Enjoyable audiobook! less

I cringe at most of her language, but Kathy Griffin is a funny, funny lady. Really enjoyed this.
