review 1: This book was cute. There was not deep or particularly insightful, but it was a good cute afternoon read. I liked the strength of the main character Ella was a strong, cowgirl. She was sassy and I liked her. Sawyer was fun. I liked that he was Australian. What girl wouldn't? The relationship was a bit too easy for me, but I still enjoyed it. The writing style was good. The flow and pace were good. Overall I enjoyed it.
review 2: Ella Grace and her Father live on their ranch in Montana. Ella is the very definition of a Cowgirl. She loves working the land and living her life as a single woman. Unfortunately for her, her father has other plans. He wants to see his daughter settle down with a good husband and have children. After many attempts to have her meet ever... morey eligible bachelor in Montana he decides to put out an advertisement in her name at the local bar for a docile house husband. When Ella sees the ad she decides to show her father what happens when he takes matters into his own hands. She puts an ad out for a perfect lover. Fortunately one man steps up and lets her know with no uncertainly that he is the perfect man for the job.Cam Sawyer travels from town to town running from his past. Although he usually stays out of the spotlight he cannot help but let Ella know that he is very interested in being her boy toy. When things start to heat up, his past comes and rears it's ugly head. Forcing him to decide what's more important; running from his past or staying and fighting for his future.This is the first book I have read from Kelly Hunter, but I was very entertained. I must admit that it threw me off with the mention of the local Saloon and a ball and I became confused about what time span the story actually takes place. Once I figured that out I was enjoying the book. Ella is funny and makes the everyday girl very attractive. She didn't try hard to be who she was, her attitude was very love me or hate me I am who I am. When you figure out exactly what Cam's big secret is you will be blown away. I never expected him to reveal what he did. This was a good read, the interaction between Ella and her father will make you laugh, the interaction between Ella and Cam will make you smile and look for your prince charming.
