review 1: Loving you Always by Kennedy Ryan*Please note, LOVING YOU ALWAYS is book two in The Bennetts Series, book one is WHEN YOU ARE MINEKennedy Ryan is back and you better hold on to your seats people – if you thought When You Are was hard to read, this one will have you gritting your teeth, crying gut-wrenching tears, along with happy tears. My advice, invest in Kleenex now.Loving You Always continues the love triangle with Walsh, Cam and Kerris while Cam and Kerris are trying to make their marriage work. In the previous book, I really disliked Cam. His behaviour was passive aggressive, but to be honest, I found faults with all three characters but for some reason, Cam bore the brunt of my dislike the most. He is still emotionally bankrupt, he seemed to be using Kerris as a m... moreark of ‘I’ve made it’ and as a trophy wife. In saying that, I’ve never doubted Cam’s love for Kerris, but I’ve certainly questioned his motives and even more so in this book. I was tweeting Kennedy saying ‘I want to slap him … I want … to … slap him!’ You don’t say you are going to try with your marriage and then keep going back to that time and holding stuff over each other. He used that as an anchor to remain in the marriage. Funnily enough, this was the moment my thoughts on Cam changed. He really was the innocent bystander in this love triangle. His response was the way an emotionally defunct person would react. Kennedy really has a knack of writing characters with wonderful flawing and responses. He lost his wife’s heart long ago and the devastating blows that follow really cement for Cam that he needs to get away. He needs to let the love for his wife go and move forward with his dreams and goals. I feel bad that he was collateral damage. It truly is a marvellous thing when an author can create characters that have you mentally bashing, cussing out, wanting to hug and wanting to give advice too. Kennedy, you did well. The story line is a timeless classic but your writing and characters voice make it unique. People might not understand it. They might compare it to TV drama, and that’s okay, they are missing out on seeing the journey that many people in real life desperately need. Perhaps Kennedy’s calling is also to write self-help. The growth that all the characters have might be perceived as small but in their world, they are huge steps. All the hurt and wasted time spent because they didn’t communicate! GAH! I’m not about spoilers but even when Cam’s physically not there, he still has a massive presence in Walsh and Kerris’ relationship. Kerris might not have done the deed with Walsh but she emotionally and mentally cheated on Cam following the kiss in WYAM. Kerris’ not innocent in this and feel she played a bit of a victim card to try and save face and she’s holding onto that scrap with both hands. The passion between Walsh and Kerris is the stuff of true love. Kerris needs to stop punishing herself and move on – grief has no time limit but she’s choosing to live in a life that is no more. Once she lets go of her own expectations and beliefs about herself coupled with Walsh’s proclamations that he waited for her before and he’s not going to ever let her go a long that will last throughout the ages is born. It’s like this is where should have been. They just had a crappy few years. I am very keen for book three, like always, not happy that I have to wait but like Kerris, Walsh and Cameron. I have to accept the things I cannot change. I was kindly provided with a free copy of this book from Net Galley to provide an honest review. review 2: Please don't read this review if you haven't read When You are Mine. I can't talk about this book without spoiling book 1, and it's so good that I really want you to be able to enjoy discovering that one at your own pace.Kennedy Ryan painted herself into quite the corner with Book 1, because there just didn't seem to be a way to move forward from where it left Kerris, Walsh & Cam where the reader can embrace and accept the HEA you know is ultimately coming. It doesn't take long to learn that Ms Ryan respects her characters-and in turn, her readers-far too much to turn Cam into a one-dimensional villain. It's not an easy read, but it's a good one. Can't wait for Book 3 next month! less

A slow read. I still think that everything could've been wrapped up in the first book.
