review 1: It was OK. Had a ton of potential but didn't measure up for me. Bikers who are "good". A heroine who is weak and runs back and forth between brothers. A loser brother, a psycho brother, a slutty mom, and a mega psycho dad.... but it just didn't jell for me. The ending? Cops taking the word of the victim no investigation. I also want a fan of the dialogue, people don't talk like that. Just my opinion.
review 2: Absolutely loved it. Frustrated the hell out of me though the amount of times Beats had to put up with the love's of her life continually walking out of her life on her. Never believing in her especially when it came to Rift and Justin's father telling them lies all the time about her. He was one evil man. Right from the start when Meadow(Beat) met Justin
... more and Jared(Rift)they shared an eternal bond. I loved the fact these boys were so protective and attached to Meadow. They both loved her from the moment she appeared yet they held back until they knew that she was ready to date. As soon as they realised Meadow was going to start seeing some one else Rift jumped in and claimed her as his girl and made sure she knew that he always loved her and had been waiting for the day for her to be his. How beautiful is that! Unfortunately happiness didn't last forever and Rift finds out something that devastates him and instead of believing in Rift and listening to her he calls her names and runs away with his mother. I was crushed for this poor girl. Eventually when she moves on I was happy for her to find love with Justin. Knowing it wasn't the same type of love she had for Rift but she loved him none the less. Meadow endured constant heartache from these men in her life, constantly having to deal with the heartache of them running away from her. Never did she give up on these men though, especially Rift. She always found her way back to them.I loved the fact that even after all the years that went by Rift never stopped loving Meadow, even his biker friends were well aware of who she was, so obviously he always mentioned her to them.Loved their happy ever after!! less
