review 1: This book was a blog recommendation, but it was not for me. The writer is very (in my opinion, overly) descriptive with setting a 'scene' and explaining what is happening, especially the sex scenes which are plentiful and after 40% of the book, started to get boring. There was not much of a plot other than the sex, which was disappointing, as I bought the book based on the first two "Closer Look" chapters which had a playful banter between long-time friends. If you are reading for the sex only (most often between MF after the first MFM romp) and you like S&M, this is one that may appeal-- but I struggled after the first half. Got bored really fast with all Simon's 'lists' for her boundaries. Not for me- this was hard to finish.
review 2: Oh my where to begin? K
... moreira introduces to Erin, Jack and Simon in a very unconventional way, but it does hook you from the start and you just have to read on to get more info on these three. Erin needs something new in her life to balance out her self from work and normal day to day activities. Enter bff Jack and his room mate Simon, what starts out as a a fun little three some turns into something more. This does how ever answer the question of when the line a friendship to friends with benefits get crossed is there a way to move forward without causing and heartbreak on all fronts. And Kira answer's it wonderfully in this story. Cant wait to read the next installment, awesome job Kira :) less
