review 1: I received this book in turn for an honest review and I must say that it is great for it's genre and age appropriate. The book progressed accordingly and the mystery was a great factor. The characters were interesting as well. I believe that my teen daughter would enjoy it so I would highly recommend it. The book is a paranormal book so keep that in mind when choosing it...I wasn't really expecting that but have read my share of paranormal books to appreciate it :)Thank you Komali for allowing me into this world for a short while!
review 2: YA Paranomal "Romance", Angels, Seers, Oh My!ANGELS DAWN by Komali Da Silva was rather a mediocre story that sometimes read more like someone was trying to tell you about a movie they saw or book they read and didn't flow sm... moreoothly. This story has potential, but needs re-editing. Lots of typos that are very distracting. Ending was unexpected and then discover it's a series. Personally, I would not read the next story, Fight for Dawn due out Summer 2014. I know teens have hormones and although never in the story did they have sex, Angelo sneaking into Dawn's bedroom at night and sleeping in her bed was just wrong. It was lying and deceitful. I seriously doubt your "guardian angel" would do such. We never did learn more about the 4 men who attacked Dawn and why? Yet she saw the one with the eye piercing several times, including him coming into the family home and getting her dog Night. Too many situations were started but then abandoned in the over all story.Overall storyline is a 3.5 star, completion of storyline is 3 stars and editing is 3 star, I received this copy of the book as a gift from the author for an honest review. I very rarely give reviews of a 3. I do hope the next story is better developed. less
