review 1: I heard Kristin speak several years ago on a Christian radio station I listen to, and I remember thinking that I wanted to find out more about her. I finally bought the book and read it, and I was not disappointed. The book itself is well written and keeps your attention from sentence one until the end of the book. Her story will speak to everyone - pretty much everyone I know has been through hard times, has struggled with depression or anxiety, or even had suicidal thoughts. It was a very truthful look inside the mind of a troubled and lost teenager, as well as an uplifting story of how God causes good things to come out of bad circumstances. It showed both how Kristin had to deal with major life changes, struggles, and pain, and God's forever faithful love, care, and pr... moreotection. His ways are higher than ours. And He truly does make all things work out for good when we love Him. I highly recommend this book!
review 2: Kristen Anderson hardly had time to plan her suicide. An impulsive choice born out of frustration with life in general and her parents in particular, as well as undiagnosed depression led her down a path of pain and anguish she could never have imagined.Many teenagers succeed in their suicide attempts. She almost did, but God had other plans. BIG plans, as it turns out. This is an almost unbelievable story of her awful choice, her miraculous survival, and God's plan to give her - and many others through her - a hope and a future. less
