review 1: Very impressive story. Great character development. I really enjoyed the inner commentary of the MC...probably because I have a similar running inner commentary in my head on my own life. I became invested in the MCs quickly and enjoyed the development of their relationship. I was not bothered by the fact that one of the MCs was 17 and the other 20, even though it technically can be a problem legally. There is really less than 2 years age difference and it was important for the story for the one character to be underage.Really, really enjoyed this.
review 2: Sebastian and Eli were so sweet together. I loved both their individual characters and them as a couple. This is not the typical romance novel, its a very dark story and has a lot of twists and turns. ... moreI was actually surprised by most of the twist and turns which is good for me because normally I see them coming. I am not sure how the author came up with this story, I really really loved it. Reading books like this one always keeps me gripped. I hope to read more of this authors work :) less
