review 1: A great Cozy Mystery! I really enjoyed this book. Well written with both humor, romance and mystery. Vicky Andrews is someone I would like to share wine and chocolate with (like many of us she turns to both when life gets out of control!). She finds her boss dead at an open house she is hosting. Suddenly Vicky is in the middle of a murder investigation. Attracted to Nick the detective - she still can't wait for the authorities (she's a mom with children to protect!)to find the killer and off she goes. Luckily (or unluckily) Vicky has the help of some very quirky characters along the way. I hope this is the start of a series! review 2: I truly enjoyed reading this book. The main character, Vicky, is strong, witty, and vulnerable all at the same time. She's so fu... morenny and easy to relate to, despite the fact that her life is in shambles. She keeps you engaged as she tries to untangle one mess after another. This book had me laughing out loud. The characters are quirky and fun. I hope the rumors are true and this book becomes a series. I would love to hear more from all of these characters. A great read! less
