review 1: This book was good. I mean it felt like a novel almost. It had a solid story line, characters you loved and hated, and a HEA ending. I now want to know what is going to happen to the brother and sister. I hope this author decides to keep going with this as a series. I thought Lord Reese Harrington was someone who has had a troubled past and couldn't get further without figuring out his own issue's. He needed to get past them and was finally able to. When he realized how much of an ass he was, he went after the one thing that tried so hard to show him she could be a good wife. Jayce Cullen went out of her way to prove herself a good wife. I personally would have hit him over the head. I wanted to several times.I highly recommend this book. You will lov... moree it.
review 2: The writing wasn't bad but I stopped halfway through the book. There was no common sense whatsoever in the story!!!Jayce, the heroine is all upset because Reese, her husband, is so cold to her and "doesn't love her".Hellooo? Wake up! You never met him before, he doesn't know you at all, the only reason he married you is because your father kidnapped his sister and told him to only way to see her again in one piece was to marry you!WTF?And when I discovered the kidnapping was fake but orchestrated by Reese's sister to force her brother in marriage I stopped right away. What the heck is wrong with those characters? The "heroine" seems to be living in another planet with no vision of the reality around her, Reese is flat and not developed, Reese's sister is even more shallow and doesn't know the meaning of "free will"…and the story is not believable at all!Not going to continue reading it. less
