review 1: Buen libro. Tiene trama, los dos personajes están un poco rotos , pero se ayudan mutuamente. Lo que me faltó fue mostrar más la sanación personal, creo que esos meses pasaron muy rápido y la verdad es que la autora no se detuvo en la superación de los miedos y fantasmas de ambos. Los personajes están muy bien desarrollados y me gustan que no sean los estereotipos de siempre, ambos tienen virtudes Y fallas, y bastantes malas. Me gustó :)
review 2: One more free book from LB Simmons- totally happy I saw the FB post and clicked on it.As cautioned in the summary this deals with child abuse and it is very harsh stuff to read about and so painful to see how people work so hard to survive it.Tatum lost her dad when she was 6 and her mother blamed her every si... morengle day and every single time she took a drink. She hurt Tatum physically and mentally it is a wonder she survived. Tatum is strong but struggling to find her way in the world.Noah lost his mom when he was 6 and his dad expected perfection from him in everything he did. He beat him down pretty bad as well.Tatum and Noah are working for her brother in his bar and they don't really like each other. Noah comes to Tatum's rescue and their attraction becomes very apparent and they both seem to see the pain in the other. They have an amazing relationship with the past they share, but in order to find their way they must make tough decisions. Absolutely loved Tatum's letters to her dad- so sad, and Noah's lyrics are amazing. Such a Beautiful story. Loved it less
