review 1: Well, what to say...It was GOD AWFUL, the editing alone left much to be desired, let alone the story line it self. It just wasn't a well written book period. As one reader said the charters where so interchangeable that I think even the author didn't know one from the other since he had Avery in Blythe lap a couple of times. Or that could just be that the Editor wasn't doing their job, since I could have done a better job of editing then this person did. Leiland Dale is on my buy at your own risk list now and most authors don't make it off. I sighed in relief when I finished this book, I don't recommend it at all to anyone.
review 2: There were just too many editing errors (calling Sterling Avery and Blythe Hunter) and plot errors (Sterling leaves the house and... more minutes later Blythe gets a call saying he's in surgery for a car accident? Not nearly enough time for that) and a few other issues I just couldn't ignore for me to give this book any more than 2 stars. I enjoyed the first one of this series, but this just did not work for me. less
