review 1: This book details the case of Adam Walsh. It was easy to read and follow. I was on the edge of my seat. I was familiar with the case but after all these years, I never knew the details. This book tells most of what happened. I was angry at some points (due to the poor handing of the case by the PD) and brought to tears at other points. It angers me that it took over 20 years for the Walshes to get closure, but justice wasn't served. The Hollywood PD failed them. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to know more about what really happened in this case.
review 2: It's been thirty seconds, do you know where your kids are now? I had no idea how profound one true story can be on so many levels. And, I grew up in the midst of it only barely aware of the least of i
... moret. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and America's Most Wanted is what the Walsh family dedicated themselves to to see that this kind of haunting mystery not happen to others and in return for their efforts their case went unsolved for 27 years only because of shitty work by the Hollywood, FL Police whom the Walshes believed were doing everything they could. And the details revealed of what a person is callously capable of doing to a child is sickening but worth knowing and definitely can't be now unknown by this reader. less
