review 1: Castle's book on Astrology. It's mainly about these two best friends, Pete and Annabelle that can only see each other in the summer. They both were sure they were meant for each other, but this summer, Annabelle is into Astrology, which Pete find a complete buzz. Pete does not want anything to do with Astrology.. that was until Annabelle dared him to open a astrology booth down by the boardwalk with her. He could not say "no" to a dare, so he decides to follow through. The thing I don't like about this book is that these characters may have the characteristics of a teenager, but their behavior seem very young to me. I find their acts very middle school and childish.. perhaps that is because I am quite mature myself. One thing about this book that confuses me, but I kind of... more like is the alternation between the two narrators. One chapter it's Pete's first person pov, and the next would be Annabelle's. It took me a while to get the hang of the constant switch on narration, but at the same time, it manages to give me some different insights on the two character's ideas and feelings. This style of Castle's writing managed to make the story seem more interesting to keep up with.
review 2: I think this book is kind of romantic yet it had some humor in it. The main characters, Annabelle and Pete are soulmates together. But Pete only dislikes one flaw about Annabelle, the fact that she's into astrology. The summer was going so well until they started having arguments and things get a little shakey between them. I like this book because it teaches readers that things aren't always going to end well, and things aren't always as they seem. I would recommend this book to girls that like being themselves no matter how much someone dislikes them for liking it. less

So Good. A little predictable, but totally not at the same time. There are definately curveballs.

meh. I wanted a nice light beach read, but this was too light for my tastes.
