review 1: Yes, very cute, and the short rhymes, bouncy rhythm, and scribbly style art were all very apt. And I like the words that will expand the child's vocabulary. And I like how a teacher could use this as a foundation for a creative writing exercise. But somehow I did not fall over myself loving this, even though I do like cats. Sorry.ETA - added the word 'not' to the penultimate sentence. Changed the whole point of the review/rating. Oops.
review 2: I found this sweet poetic book (for all cat lovers) about a kitten name Posy, who romps and rolls through the book doing mischief just like every kitten you’ve ever known. The ‘sketchy’ look of the watercolor illustrations show so much movement as Posy moves through the story, all action! According to the ... morestory, she’s a “playful wrangler” and a “knitting tangler”, but also a “leaf collector” and a “sock inspector”, but you’ll need to find the book to discover what else. Fun book! less
