review 1: I was somewhat confused when both main characters were described as Jewish then we discover at least he is a devout Christian. Apparently they are ethnically Jewish but not of the Jewish faith. Since they seem to observe Jewish religious holidays as well as Christian, I guess they are Messianic Jews. Although Nadia is originally from Russia and lived in Israel until recently, I was surprised at her poor English since she is a senior in college. I never figured out the role of one mysterious character. Although I liked the story line, I felt there was an awful lot of repetition, and the story moved slowly. Still, I liked the characters and the Christian message.
review 2: Good Christian book - lots to ponder about God's love for us and forgiveness. Sometimes for
... moregiving ourselves is harder than forgiving others. But God's love is always there, no matter what we do. I loved the love story between Nadia and David - he was patient and never rushed things with Nadia. He loved her so much he never wanted to hurt her. It was a beautiful romance that was almost like a fairy tale. Makes one want to go and try harder with their spouse. less
