review 1: This one surprised me. I thought it was going to be a lot darker than it actually was. It reminded me of a Law & Order: SVU episode. Like disturbing but you know you will make it through okay. I liked the characters and really liked how they went between Claire and Connor as well as past and present. I didn't find it confusing at all and it helped with the mood. Her captor was obviously one sick, perverted, heinous individual and I liked that we got a past on him as well. Overall, something I enjoyed reading and I look forward to reading more by this author.
review 2: This was an excellent book. Couldn't put it down. It's a book about a woman who was abducted when she was fifteen years old. Now she is twenty five and still held captive. He keeps her by eith... moreer killing people sh has interactions with or threatening to harm them. She occasionally sneaks out and has one night stands with men leaving her old address in hopes that they will contact her family letting them know she is alive. She sneaks out one night and meets up with Conner, only he won't sleep with her. He is a cop. When he gets her address in the morning and he goes to her family and finds out she was abducted ten years ago, he must investigate. Riveting. less
