review 1: Wow, I love it when I come across new authors that I love. This books was so refreshing and original.Rhane Evans is forced to deal with the unimaginable. Losing the love of her life and her voice, the one thing that made her who she is, all in one sudden beat. She loses her self the day that happens. She can't remember what happened but she's blamed. We follow her journey as she attempts to figure out what happened, move on, find who she is again. Rhane was a breath of fresh air for me as far as female characters go. Loved her!And then there is Ian Callahan. Yummy yum yum! He's screwed up, messed up, and has had it rough and he can't help the connection he feels to Rhane. He wants to be her rock, even if he may need a rock of his own to lean on.And you ca... moren't forget about the other characters, Gwen and T, where a great addition to the story, providing some much needed direction for Rhane as well as entertainment.The sexual tension was hot and steamy, the story moving, and the happy ending was just what I needed. The loved the authors writing style and her ability to keep me invested in the characters and story. I will DEFINITELY be reading more from Lori L. Clark. I definitely recommend this book.
review 2: So, I loved this book, I loved the writing I loved the characters I loved the story I loved the slow build of the romance, I loved that the romance didn't get ronchy..... The Bly thing keeping it from 5 stars for me was the ending.... It came soooo quicky, once they reconciled the book was at like 97% and their reunion was so rushed... I would have liked 3 or 4 more chapters and an epilogue... I feel like we waited the who,e book for them to be together and then when they finally were we got like 2 pages. They never even said I love you. The end just felt so abrupt. Other than that I loved it. I'm excited to read Ian's pov. less
