review 1: This was a short novel that centers around the meeting of Rory and Maverick. Maverick came to the rescue of Rory after she nearly died from being crush by a lawn statue. This was really no different than a hundred other werewolf inspired paranormal romance novels but I still enjoyed it immensely. The characters were charming, the story good. There have been several reviews that mention the poor to nonexistent editing of this book, and I'd agree much could have been corrected with a few good rewrites. Perhaps the author jumped to publish too quickly, or perhaps she couldn't afford a good editor. To that....I'm not sure. But even with all the errors I still loved the story....so much so I've purchased both the second and third book of this series. I'd even go so far as to sa... morey, to any 'were loving romance novel readers'....get ready to enjoy the next couple of hours:-)
review 2: Enjoyable new series with promise. Great chemistry, characters and plot lines. The POV changes were a little erratic and made it difficult to follow. I would suggest noting the change with more spacing between paragraphs or holding out for a switch until a new chapter. The book was also a little rushed. Would have liked to spend more time with the couple. Can't wait for Willow/Ryder and Faith/Ranger! :) less
