review 1: It was so raw and real. You can relate so much to the main character Kenya, and her story is amazing. The reason I loved this book is because its not like you ordinary Young Adult novel. It has a female protagonist and a plot line that many can understand. It has a little bit of romance but believe me its not your "boy saves girl or girl saves boy kind of story". Thank goodness for authors like Madeleine who are not afraid to write about these subject matters and help bring light to this serious topic. less
