review 1: First and foremost, I am not a romance novel person. Ugh. That being said, once you take out those parts (which were pretty soft-core compared to other romance novels I've read), it had a solid plot, very relatable characters, and was well written. It was so well done that I'm considering getting the next set. And none of the women were the stereotypical image for those stories. It is divided into 3 parts, the Mad Hatter, "Beast", and the Big, Bad Wolf. Mad Hatter: I enjoyed the struggle Alice had to face with her Hatter. "Beast": Someone from the geek world was pretty accurately described! Wolf: Lots of struggle with preconceived notions. Involved in all these stories is there fairy godmother and the plot that weaves everything together.
review 2: Romance is no
... moret my genre, but fantasy is. I really enjoyed the first book about Alice and the Mad Hatter. I did not care for the second book, loosely based on Beauty and the Beast, and book 3(Little Red Riding Hood) was just too graphic in the first scene, but overall a good read. These all have the normal, graphic sex scene found in romance books that I do not enjoy reading. I do think though that these are good books with interesting twists on the fairy tales we all know. I wish they were longer so there could have been better character development. less
