review 1: Anyone with siblings could probably relate to Another Brother in some way. Davy was an only child for a while and was the center of attention. Davy eventually got twelve brothers, and he was annoyed because they copied everything he did. Eventually they stopped and Davy felt alone but then he got a sister. The illustrations matched the words very well and there was a lot of onomatopoeia displayed within the illustrations. In the classroom, this book could be used to teach students about patience or how to be a role model for younger siblings.
review 2: This book is so adorable in describing about when families have more children and how the other kids have to adapt. Another Brother’s illustrations are really cute and the sheep portrays the people. I think tha
... moret the print are needed to understand what the story is getting across because there are more words than really pictures on the pages. It is almost like a comic strip because there is a picture for each little passage. This book has a lot of other little picture in it that creates more creativity in the book and gives more detail to what is going on in the print. In the classroom it could be used for a unit on families and how to adjust to a growing family for young children. less
