review 1: Amazon recommended that I read this book and I thought I'd give it a try. Lance spells out his horrific first dates with different women, each crazy in her own way. But it wasn't the fact that they were crazy (most people are) that made it funny. It was the fact that they were first date crazy. Most people can hide it for a little while. After I finished it, it made me appreciate my fairly average dating life so far.
review 2: I thought this was supposed to be a funny book, but I just never found the humor. For example, he goes on a date with a girl who was raped so now she's overly cautious and paranoid. Hilarious. Er, no wait. That's not actually funny. He also goes on a date with a girl who is a christian freak, which is just sad and annoying, not funny
... more. Also the girl who had to drink an entire bottle of wine before skating into people on their date and then kicking him out after sex. I don't know, maybe it's me? These situations really aren't even funny when summarized, so when they're stretched out they become even less funny. It seems like the author is a potentially funny person, but I don't know if he has a sense of what's funny (based on what he chose to write about). I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. less

Kindle single about dating from a guy's perspective. Short and funny in spots.
