review 1: This book is one of those that you can't judge by its cover, title, or the summary at the back of it. I was expecting a stereotypically girly, easy-to-read, light kind of book, "A Royal Pain" was a surprisingly deep read. Bronte Talbot, the main protagonist, was an independent woman, someone who turns from a whiny, almost annoying person into the sophisticated lady every girl hopes to become. I would recommend this book to people who want to read contemporary fiction or romance that is not flighty.
review 2: This one started out sweet and quirky but a quarter of the way through I just couldn't wait to be done with it. I thought most of the characters were really shallow and I honestly don't understand how Bronte had any friends at all. I found her to be a sel... morefish sniveling crybaby who didn't deserve anything let alone the ideal man she found in Max. My other problem was that this was a romance but I really didn't feel any connection between them besides the physical aspect of it.This one just didn't work for me. less
