review 1: Girlfriend material was about a girl named Kate and she went up to visit her mom's college roommates name Tina.While they were up there Kate faces a lot of surprises. firstly, Tina sent up a tennis exercise for her where she teaches a 13-year-old girl named Natasha how to play tennis. She also meets a boy named Adam that there is a lot of drama with and The lady that she staying with Tina has a daughter named Sarah and she was very rude to Kate. I rated this book 5/5 stats because it was very well written. Melissa Kantor is a really good author. I like this book because it was very easy to read and they made perfect sense and I just like the overall topic/plot of this book. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sort of a romantic book but fiction at the same... more time
review 2: This book is the best book ever , its about a teenage girl named Kate. That summer , her mom takes her on a trip to visit some old family friends they havent seen in about foever. Her first impression of the family & surroundings was not very pleasing. Her mothere's old friend's daughter Sarah doesnt really seem interested in her. She has to teach some angry kid to play tennis & finding a way to feel placed in Sarahs group of friends seems kind of hard. Telling herself she would just keep everything on the lowkey and stay to herslef suddenly everything changes as she meets a witty boy named Adam. Starting out with a causual friendship and ending out with something more Kate finds herself wondering if she is girlfriend material. Never having a boyfriend before she askes, Will this relationship be taken to another level when she leaves ? I mean shes only here for the summer. Or is it just a dead bug to poke at in the momment? The more & more time passes the better things get. Her relationship with Adam continues to grow. And the more she observes and things change. This book is a nice read , very interesting. less
