review 1: Interesting story, but honestly, if the two had talked 10 years ago instead of solely relying on a known-to-be-unreliable source for their information, the whole book wouldn't have been needed. Derek was cruel and unnecessarily mean towards her when they were reunited and I don't understand how she could just forget that. Plus, despite being resolved to NOT sleep together, they jumped into bed every chance they got. I started skipping the sex scenes because they did nothing to move the plot along.
review 2: I have enjoyed other Melody Anne books, but this story line wasn't for me. I hated the direction it took, hated the deception and how it all played out. Why can't two people have an up front discussion about issues?? No, just have sex instead. There was no c... moreonnection between H & H for most of the book. The way this story was told was too frustrating for me. Definitely won't read any more in this series. less
