review 1: Are you in high school? Do you dare revisit? READ THIS BOOK. Zeitlin weaves a hilarious tale. You don't want to put it down and before you know it, it's over and you wish it wasn't. Everyone has a little Kelsey Finkelstein in them and because of this you love her even when her teenage angst takes over you can't help but root for her. The characters are magnificently written. This book was also seen on ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, everyone is clearly talking about it. Get into it!
review 2: So, yeah, I started it a couple days before on, July 24-ish. Um, I suppose that Cass and Em are really popular names for some people. I honestly didn't know what to expect form this book. The inside flap wasn't really helpful because it was all over the place. The plot of this
... morebook was not one of those really familiar ones. Which was good; I liked it. The whole Jordan thing seemed a little early in the book to me. When Travis interrupted JoJo in the middle of saying she was a lesbian, I got mad because I thought I would never know for sure. Speaking of which, Travis is a BOYS' NAME! The end confused me because I couldn't figure out who was half-blackmailing Kelsey. So, does she wind up with Ben? I'm not really sure. This didn't really seem to be a romance novel. It's one of those books that you don't know where to file. It needs a shelf of its own. Kelsey's character was likable. They were all likable. Em was my favorite character, but I had no unusual crazy attractions to any characters. less
